DBS fee reductions now live
As of 5 October, the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) has reduced the cost of its checks, and the new DBS fees have been applied to all DBS applications processed through the E2E Vetting Service.
New DBS Fees:
Basic DBS Check: £20.00 (previously £21.50)
Standard DBS Check: £20.00 (previously £21.50)
Enhanced DBS Check: £41.00 (previously £49.50)
Update Service subscription: £15.00 per year (reduced from £16.00)
Volunteer checks remain free of charge.
What this means for our customers
The new DBS fees have already been applied within the E2E Vetting Service, so no action is required from customers. Any new DBS checks submitted from 5 October will automatically benefit from the reduced DBS rates.
Whilst the DBS fee has reduced, the E2E Vetting Service administration fee remains unchanged.
The revised pricing will help organisations reduce recruitment and workforce compliance costs, while continuing to benefit from the same trusted DBS checking service. Importantly, the DBS has confirmed that quality remains at the core of its products and services and that the fee reduction does not affect the standard of service or the rigour of DBS checks.
Alongside the recent launch of our new DBS platform in partnership with CBS, customers can benefit from a streamlined application process, an improved user experience and reduced DBS fees.
